London Bagel Museum 런던베이글뮤지엄, South Korea’s best bagel chain

Have you heard about ‘London Bagel Museum’, South Korea’s most hyped cafe chain? It is the NUMBER 1 most queued-for cafe chain in Korea based on the latest  2025 ‘Catch Table’ restaurant queue app stats. We thought we’d see if this Korean bagel shop is worthy of the buildup…

We wouldn’t usually suggest going all the way to Korea for a bagel (and traditional Korean food is so tasty) but young Koreans and families love it so we thought we’d try it ourselves on our latest summer 2025 visit to South Korea.

What is the London Bagel Museum 런던베이글뮤지엄?

The London Bagel Museum 런던베이글뮤지엄 only began in 2021 but last year, it sold over $55 million USD worth of bagels – now that is a lot of ‘dough’!

It is a very popular Korean bagel chain with several branches and over 100,000 followers on Instagram – “But it’s only a bagel” you may cry. Not according to the long lines of people wanting to get into the various branches of the London Bagel Museum.

Literally every time we go past one (especially the original London Bagel Factory Anguk near Bukchon Hanok), the queue is always massive – and we always see their bagel filled bags being carried by hungry locals around Seoul (pretty much that and Olive Young bags).

Our experience

We’ve never considered going to the Anguk London Bagel Museum as the queue always seems immense. We visited nearby Bukchon Hanok Village last in May 2025 and walked back via London Bagel Museum but there were hordes of people waiting by mid morning.

However, whilst spending a few days in Suwon (an easy day trip from Seoul), we went to see the famous Suwon Starfield Library and saw lots of people carrying London Bagel Museum bags.

Honestly, the London Bagel Cafe Suwon was just out of this world – the interior felt a bit like you’d imagine a bakery at Harry Potter’s Hogwarts, and yep, you can get countless London Bagel Cafe souvenirs too!

Seriously, the amount of London Bagel Museum merchandise 런던베이글뮤지엄 was madness – you could buy everything from postcards to  pencils, plushes to tote bags.

They also have their own mascots like a tiny horse (Pogry) and the ‘Hillsbury Dark Horse’ (no, we aren’t sure either).

Food, drink and London Bagel Museum prices 2025

Most basic bagels cost around the 4,000 KRW mark to 6,000 KRW then toppings or fillings cost a bit more.

As well as Korean, all of the bagel flavours and sides are labelled in English. In Suwon, you are shown your table then you head over to the counter to be greeted by a cornucopia of bagel choices.

Some of the London Bagel Museum flavours we spotted included Bacon Potato Sandwich (the most expensive one at 14,800 KRW), jambon beurre, onion, red bean rice, truffle butter, sausage jalapeno cheese, black olive and also basil bagels. There were about a dozen more bagel types on top of that!

We went for a pre-made cream cheese and onion bagel (8,500 KRW) plus a garlic Bagel (5,300 KRWl with a side of bacon & jalapeño cream-cheese (4,300 KRW) with a Americano (5,000 KRW) – total bill 23,100 KRW.

Their other popular dish is warm soup to dip your bagels in  – bliss!

And you know what? It was really good – the bagels were really delicious (better than many others we’ve had recently in the UK) and their choice of flavors was huge – plus garlic and jalapeño cream cream worked surprisingly well.

How to (possibly) beat The London Bagel Museum queues

We went at 4pm one week afternoon and used the virtual queuing system via CatchTable, a popular Korean app. These are some more Korean / travels apps you might want to download before you travel >

We had a 30 minute waiting slot but the virtual queue meant we could explore Starfield Suwon mall then head back to the cafe once we were at the front of the queue.

So if you don’t mind queuing, consider checking out Korea’s London Bagel Museum cafes next time you visit.

We used a Korean eSIM to make this booking so you don’t need a Korean phone number to use CatchTable – check out our guide to buying Korean SIMs and eSIMS here >
