We are Caroline and Neil – the creatives behind South Korea Hallyu!

Hello!

We are Caroline and Neil – a British couple / two travel bloggers who are obsessed with South Korea!

We met whilst working together at a UK travel agency called STA Travel, creating marketing campaigns at their head office in London. Neil has a background in marketing and Caroline has a background in graphic design.

We started writing our own travel articles in 2016 and we founded the South Korea Hallyu brand in 2024.

South Korea Hallyu is one of four travel guide websites we own. We also run a generic travel website called cktravels.com, plus destination websites for Taiwan (taiwanderers.com) and Japan (planmyjapan.com).

We also own and run one of the most engaged South Korea travel Facebook groups with over 150,000 members – South Korea Travel Tips and Planning.

These days we divide our time between the UK and Asia, working on creating fun and engaging articles, photography and video content aimed at like-minded ‘care-free’ travellers.
