Deciding which luggage storage to use

In this guide, weโ€™ll go through various ways to store luggage or have it forwarded.

2026 South Korea luggage storage prices usually start from 2,200 Won per small bag based on four hours at a station locker (4 hours is the minimum amount of time) – however, most station lockers only allow 5 days maximum.

Plus there are cheaper and longer alternatives if you need to store your luggage for more than a day or so.

Using Bounce for luggage storage (1 hour to several weeks)

Bounce is one of the best known global luggage storage services with locations in 4,000 cities across the world including Seoul, Busan, Gyeongju and Jeju in South Korea.

Plus if you book via our Bounce link here, youโ€™ll get an extra 5% off exclusive to South Korea Hallyu.

Bounce for luggage storage

It is simple to use – search online for your chosen city e.g Seoul – find the location closest to you (or wherever you plan to go). You then book a space and pay online as most stores / locations won’t accept cash or walk-ins. You can also cancel before drop-off for a refund.

Minimum storage time with Bounce is one hour (but you will still get charged for the day – in those instances, train station storage lockers may be cheaper). However for travellers looking for longer term luggage storage in South Korea, some Bounce sites have no maximum storage time (unlike station lockers which are usually 5 days maximum).

Bounce for luggage storage

On your chosen day, take your luggage to the booked Bounce luggage point showing the booking email you have received – it is that simple and very safe too.

There is also bag / luggage protection included as part of your booking fee, with up to $10,000 coverage for each bag.

Opening hours vary for each location but as many are shops, hours are usually around 9am to 9pm / 10pm – so not always suitable for occasions when you need to access your luggage at very early / late times.
